Thanks for the tour, BB.
Many years ago, I spent a month in Sydney, working for a radio company called
Racal (now long gone). At the end of Sydney harbour bridge I was taken to a restaurant in which one selected a raw steak and cooked it for oneself on a set of firebars which constituted a grave danger. But the steak was good, and the salad unlimited!
Thanks for coming along for the rde, John π
Although many of the old pubs are still there, a couple of the old treasures have disappeared in the last few years, and many of the enduring ones have been revamped internally. The Rocks is an interesting part of the city but I don’t thik it’s developed and utilized to its best advantage by the powers-that-be. π¦
Hello bluebee, I Love your blog and am glad to pass the Versatile Blogger award on to you! See here: http://wp.me/p1kP6q-tq I hope you enjoy it and find other great bloggers to reward with it too, with appreciation, Christine
PS I see you have had it already many times … but here it is again!
It is a beautiful harbour. I would gladly live in some of those boat houses. Some people have a great life, don’t they? My favourite photo is the one of the Titanic. That has tickled me. Excellent slideshow, Bluebee!
Thanks, Selma – gotta love the sense of humour of Titanic’s owner π I love the Laurel and Hardy boathouse – they also have a yacht named ‘Occasional Coarse Language’ π
Wouldn’t it be marvellous to have one of the boathouses for a writing studio?
Thanks for the wonderful shots.
Glad you enjoyed the vicarious trip around the harbour, Charles π
Nice.
An antidote to winter up your way, I hope π
Love the “No Rush” and the “Jolly Frog.”
Wanna go halvsies on the “That’ll do too”??? π
Yes! We could blog by the sparkle of champagne on the aft deck at sunset β how awesome would that be?!
The Jolly Frog looks like a fun place
It would make a great pub π I suspect a few parties are had at the no-rush-Robinson-Crusoe pad
haha – love the running dialogue π Terrific series of photos bluebee – good one!
haha – thanks for enjoying my happy snaps, Gabe π
Looks like an awesome place for some great shots!
It is an awesome place – lots of boats that never get launched though. Thanks for dropping by π
Excellent choices and I love the slideshow approach too… π
Thanks, Elizabeth – am always a bit indiscrimately snap-happy on the harbour π
Thanks for the tour, BB.

Beautifully done Beeblu!
Thanks, Gilly π
Oh, what a blast! Getting on a plane to see this would be an impossibility but now I’ve seen it, courtesy of you. Thank you: a great post…
Glad you enjoyed the tour, Kate π
Seems like a lovely city for anyone like myself who adores messing about in boats of all shapes, sizes and types.
It’s a mariner’s delight, Col π
Great entry for this week topic π
Thanks, Jake π

I’ve never been to Sydney Harbor, but from your viewpoint it’s a funny, although endlessly interesting, place. Great slideshow.
Thanks, Tom – it’s a wonderful place to explore
You’ve got a good eye!
Thanks, Cris π
