Oh, this takes me back. I used to do that all the time. I cheated in a History exam once by writing cryptic notes about the Napoleonic wars on my wrists. It backfired on me though because the notes were so cryptic I couldn’t remember what they were about. LOL. I love the treatment you have given the photos. So effective!!!
That’ll teacha, haha. We were forbidden to write anything on our hands at school (not ladylike, y’know) and the teachers would have a fit if they caught us – we used to write silly notes on our hands to surreptitiously try and make each another laugh in class (I had a friend I wouldn’t dare look at because she could always make me laugh uncontrollably – we used to dance together in shows and could never look at each other on stage either :)) and also things like phone numbers and reminders to bring stuff for sports etc. (there were no mobile phones or PDAs around in those days ;-)) Thanks, Selma
That’s fantastic, Elizabeth – I tried to write in cursive the other day and found that I can no longer remember how to do it π¦ and my print-writing is pretty untidy as well.
super, love whatever you have done to the images, great poster/artwork material π
Thanks, Christine π I enjoy playing around with Picasa’s photo editor?
Wonderful!
Thanks, Julie – writing the text with my non-dominant hand was a bit of a challenge π
I still write on my hands to remember. But I do it on the front, near the webbing between thumb and forefinger
A good spot to ensure you can’t forget. We used to write on our palms so our teachers wouldn’t see.
Great and original take on theme and lovely pictures…;)
Thanks for this lovely comment, Gerry π
Like the use of colour.
I write single letters on my hand to remind me of things I have to do- and then forget what they stand for…
LOL! Thanks, Zoe – it’s great to see you π
Ah that’s brilliant, very clever and well worth waiting for!
What a lovely thing to say, Gilly. Thanks! π
So cool – I love it!
Thanks, Gabe π

Great post … and yes now we all type. I still write in long hand too though. π

Oh Bluebee!!!! π
Very cool! π
Thanks, Nancy π
Very clever and inventive. Thanks! (I haven’t written anything on my hands in yonks)
And I haven’t heard ‘yonks’ for yonks, haha. Thanks GFB.
Same here – what a great word!
I wonder where it came from?
I’ve just had a bit of a look around the web and it seems its origins are unknown.
Very creative!!
Thank you π
I still do, BB π
Not a complete technology convert, then, Kate? π
that is just perfect…and I still do it
Thanks, Jo. A lot of people do, it seems. π
I love your images!
never did it, always on paper, then I forget to take the paper…maybe it is a good time to start on hand!
Haha, thanks, Benedicte. I am thinking that perhaps the post-it note took its place eventually. And then the PDAs like the iPhone, etc.
Amazing photo-editing, Bluebee; love the comments, too
Thanks, Monica:)
