    • Me too, Christine. What is that saying about friends and enemies? I don’t think it covers neighbours, but this is far too close for my liking.

    • Thanks, Gabe πŸ™‚ There’s something terribly nostalgic about old brick buildings and smokestacks – I think of them as the tough old survivors in a crazy, modern world

    • It must be quite strange for the residents since the High Line was opened, Kate – suddenly people peering down these alleyways from previously inaccessible perspectives

  1. I love alleyways so much, but the windows ARE a little close for comfort. The only way to deal with the proximity of the neighbours would be to join in the fun. Binoculars and cams would abound. I could start my own reality show “An Eye On The Alleyway” or “What the Neighbours Saw.” Haha.

    • Trust you to come up with something so creative, Selma πŸ™‚ I’m clueless when it comes to what goes on in our neighbourhood (sooo boring in the ‘burbs) but, strangely enough, the men seem to be up on all the goss – the hub keeps me informed πŸ˜‰
