A view from above

Thinking of the people of America as they recover from this devastating event.

New York Times – Time-lapse video of Sandy over NYC

  1. The hardest hit areas in NJ are my old stomping grounds . . . Point Pleasant, Manasquan, Seaside Heights, etc.

It’s hard watching the devastation and know that our family and friends are without power and heat. What a mess.

  2. The devastation is horrific and as we find out more each day, it gets worse – 80 dead and counting – flooding, wrecked houses, fire, rat plagues, – doesn’t get much worse than that! So glad I am moving away from being so close to the ocean (about 100 metres) – we live in a really low lying area that would easily be submerged by a storm surge (it’s happened before many years ago, apparently). That timelapse is amazing.
