This was today – catching up on university stuff – which I enjoyed, but it doesn’t make for a terribly exciting photo subject.
Never mind – it’s nearly champagne o’clock Downunder, and tomorrow’s another holiday (and golf). π
For more inspired entries to this week’s photo challenge, see The Daily Post.
I particularly enjoyed these five:
But you must have learned some, so that was good, right?
Yes π
I love champagne oβclock! π
`Your desk is far cleaner than mine! And I actually cheated and cleaned mine up a bit for its photo π
Haha – it’s the dining room table – my desk is too small for all the stuff I need for assignment work. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Stephanie. π
Me too!
Cheers, Nancy π
Best time of the day π Cheers!
Eek! You ENJOYED that? Methinks golf is a better idea …
Most of the time, university assignments are easier to master than that &)$#% little white ball π
Not as healthy to chase, though!
My eyes went automatically to the books, bb, and try as I might I couldn’t read the titles…I lifted my laptop all angles… Even upside down.. π … We’ve just put our clocks forward an hour for British Summer Time… so I’m bleary eyed… Now, any more clocks I’ve missed?… Off I go a hunting… xPenx
Haha – my elective is contemporary Australian children’s literature, so they are children’s books, Pen.
Oh, all those clocks to change – ours go back next weekend for winter, so I’ll be doing the same thing π
well equipped!
Need to be, Frizztext

I like this a lot, Bluebee. Everything so crisp and clear – you must get a lot of work done. And then there’s the champagne…!!
It makes a difference when it’s something enjoyable, Monica π
Champagne o’clock! I love it!! Thanks so much for the mention. π
You’re welcome. Are you allowed champagne o’ clock in Oman? π
We certainly are. As expats, we’re allowed to purchase a liquor license! π
I guess many of our lives look something like that, BB. I hope you got lots done and enjoyed yourself. Hapy holiday tomorrow!
It was most enjoyable, Kate. Thanks π Nice to have a four-day weekend.
Happy, even….apologies
π one day WP will provide us with a feature to edit our own comments within a certain timeframe…one day.
Champagne o’clock sounds good to me after a day’s hard study! All the best to you π
A rewarding day π Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
your desk looks so organised … i have been swimming a lot but not taking the camera … hard to photograph!
It’s the dining room table, LOL π My desk is to small to hold all the clutter needed for research assignments.
Swimming’s great – I love the water, but there’s none near to home, sadly.

I miss my Uni days – good for the brain stimulation π happy easter bb and don’t work too hard
I do enjoy uni, particularly as it has nothing whatsoever to do with my work (in which case I’d probably hate it, haha) Hope you had a great weekend, Gabe.
That is a pretty clean desk. I didn’t do the challenge because my life is too boring! π Yours was work-oriented and you still did it…good for you, BB. π
Your life is not boring! (I have a really small desk so do my assignments at the dining room table so I can spread out :-))
I like your desk, beautiful wood!
I also tried to see what you are studying…
It’s the dining room table, Benedicte π I am doing a degree in Linguistics, but this semester am doing a third-year elective in contemporary Australian children’s literature, which is very enjoyable.
both are so interesting. I never studied linguistic but I am fascinated by how much a language can direct you in a way of thinking, or does a way of thinking forge the language?

Hope your Easter was Hoppy . . . and Happy. π
Thanks, Nancy – wish I had the hours to participate π
You set my heart racing with this post – I LOVE studying and still miss it five years after finishing my degree. If I could afford to take my Masters, I’d be in heaven π
Did you do a degree in English lit?
Yes; and loved almost every minute of it. I hated the English language course, which I had expected to enjoy. But I still learned lots of interesting stuff π
What’s your degree?
Linguistics, with electives in children’s literature (which is so interesting) – I’m hooked on young adult fiction π
*Impressed*
Haha

Your desk looks far more organized than mine…wouldn’t dare take a photo of it for all to see. π
Me neither, Charles, haha. It’s the dining room table – desk is too small and cluttered for uni assignment work π
