There is traffic
and, then, there
is a galaxy. Traffic does not move
at the speed of light, like a flash
of rage. Step into space
without the gravity suit
and you will see
there is traffic
and the oh so important
corporate man
and, then, there is the universe. I don’t look
at the pegs as I hang
out the washing. I look
for you
beyond the moon.

Pegging aspirations distinctly high! π
hahaha – in space, no pegs required!
Love that poem, BB! So true…
Thanks, Sued π
Wonderful post, BB. I love the beyond the clothes pegs angle.
Thanks, Kate. The clothes pegs per item definitely don’t match on my washing line π
took a couple of readings before I got this one, but then aha π You will be happy about Voyager then http://www.smh.com.au/technology/sci-tech/voyager-1-exits-solar-system-in-breathtaking-achievement-36-years-after-launch-20130913-2to2h.html
WOW – only problem is that it left me behind, hanging up the washing. π¦ Better fire up that TARDIS of yours…
here goes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uwJ8BNL33c (this is the second time this week I’ve fired up the tardis in a blog comment – bwhahahahaha)
π
Sublime
Thanks, GFB.
Remarkable Beeblu!
Thanks, Gilly π
Mystery, awe, and speed. Rage flashing with the speed of light – wow!
Something as benign as hanging up the washing has its moments, Monica π
I really like the close.
Thanks π
