After I posted that comment, I realised the signs were in English so Seville’s river wouldn’t work. I’m working on California or Florida. π
Please tell me at least that the oranges are a clue.
I also think it’s a bit mean of you not to provide a link to the full size image so I can read the name of the cafe on the umbrellas. π
I can go no further, honestly. I’ve even translated that ****ing site, and there’s nothing on it to tell me ANYTHING about the shot’s location.
I shall never be hotter than I am now, alas !
Can I clarify a clue? “The prefecture in which its located begins with the same letter”. I read that as being the same letter as my last answer (Hidaka) but did you mean the prefecture starts with the same letter as the river?
That’s probably the correct Italian spelling, come to think of it. π
It’s double f on the umbrellas but only one on all the websites and the Facebook page which is why I couldn’t find it initially. Honestly, people should decide on something and stick with it.
lol
But I’d be mean not to concede that you are boiling on the wrong side of the bridge…
Motoyasu River
Wooooohoooo! Well done, MOSY π
Thanks for playing along, haha
WOOOOT!! The family thanks you that they can now watch television in peace. π
Oh. And now I have to go and do the dishes.
That was fun. Thanks beeblu!
Haha, thanks π And I have to get back to my boring document π¦
Thanks, Benedicte. I’m surprised nobody said The Seine as that was what I thought of while we were having lunch. Yes, the oranges are a lovely decorative feature.
Couldn’t guess it to save my life lol
Thanks for stopping by π
Mm. That’s a lot of oranges. I’m going with the Murray.
Cold, very cold, MOSY.
Hint: It’s not on this wide brown land of ours. π
Oh. Well, in that case, I’ll go with Guadalquivir. (Sticking with the ‘the oranges must be a clue’ concept.)
I had to look up Guadalquivir – looks beautiful, but no.
Oh, no, hang on. The signs are in English. Is it the Santa Clara?
A little warmer than Guadalquivir, but not much. Could the signs be a red herring…(or an orange orange :-))

hehehe – the oranges are a clue, but you’re on the wrong continent…
Arrgh!! You know this will drive me mad until I figure it out, right?
If you’re anything like me, then yes! π
I’m working on a very boring work document right now, so need some distraction… π
Thames? (I’m going to start throwing out random rivers at this point…)
Wrong island…
River Boyne, then.
This is turning into a geography lesson for me, haha
Wrong archipelago, altogether…
Is there a river called orange π
Yes, there is actually π , in South Africa. But that’s not it
I have no idea what the river is called. But those oranges look fluorescent. I am sure they tasted sweet π
I don’t know; we drank the champagne, not the orange juice π
Fair enough…but orange juice is equally delicious π What a hard guessing game, BB. That could be anywhere.
True, Mabel. π
You do know how to live, BB (no clue about the river)
P.S. comment was supposed to go after the “champagne” response
I gathered so. These threads can be confusing, can’t they?
Hello Monica π
http://lalafoto.exblog.jp/22519727
Well there it is, alright: but I can make neither head nor tail of it ! {grin}
Oooooo, La Lasciata, you are extremely hot…
I can go no further, honestly. I’ve even translated that ****ing site, and there’s nothing on it to tell me ANYTHING about the shot’s location.
I shall never be hotter than I am now, alas !
lol
Are you a spy for ASIO? What secret digital photo tracking tools do you have at your disposal?
I thirtnly am not a thpy !
I just use common sense when searching.
{grin}
Is it in Miyazaki ?
http://snag.gy/ZpZuS.jpg ???
Wrong island in the archipelago
Oh. Well, at least I have the right COUNTRY.
It’s all guesswork, really … π¦
You are doing well…
I got it, I got it, nah nah nah nah nah nah…. π
π π
GOODONYERMATE !!!!
π
With a little help from my friends. π
Way to go, eh, H me love ?
X !
A bit of a team effort π Candidates for the Amazing Race, perhaps?
She’s a bright one, bb – I’m a plodder. π
Hot, hot, but wrong prefecture
Kinokawa River?
Hotter – right island, right cardinal point on the east/west plane, but too far north…
Hidaka
That’s not it but the prefecture in which it’s located begins with the same letter…
Okay. Is the prefecture Hyogo?
Oooh, getting very hot now, but no π
Can I clarify a clue? “The prefecture in which its located begins with the same letter”. I read that as being the same letter as my last answer (Hidaka) but did you mean the prefecture starts with the same letter as the river?
H is correct π
Hiroshima
Now we’re talking…
Εta River
No π
Technically, no
I can’t find the name of the river on google maps, but this is where it is:
http://snag.gy/NLo6A.jpg π
The reason you can’t find it is because for some reason “cafe” has two fs

Wow…I jumped in late, but a fun thread…
Thanks, Sue π
Oh let’s see…South Africa’s Orange River?
Nope – wrong continent, Charles. π
I scanned the thread and saw the answer ~ great and fun post, BB.
Thanks, Nancy. My Aussie blogging friends had a bit of fun (and frustration) with it. π
great fun yes, all my guesses were wrong, London, Rome, Hong Kong, Oranges are such a good way to decorate.
Thanks, Benedicte. I’m surprised nobody said The Seine as that was what I thought of while we were having lunch. Yes, the oranges are a lovely decorative feature.
Can’t even begin to guess.
It was a difficult one, totsymae – thanks for popping in.
I was going with the Orange River but you say that’s wrong. Is there a river called The Naartjie? π
Haha, Naartjie is certainly in the Japanese phonetic repertoire, mar, nee, daar is nie.
This was a really good one, bb – complimenti, bella ! π
Why, thank you, M-R. And thanks to you an MOSY for playing along and making it such fun. π
She has that effect nearly always.
