  1. The fish is way to big for a little bird like that πŸ˜€ If it was hungry, I do hope the bird found something else to eat. Great eye spotting this little one on the rocks, BB. Looks like he didn’t see you πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Mabel. πŸ˜„ I think there is so much for birds to eat in Shanghai. Human-suitable food is not in short supply there, so there’s no shortage of crumbs/morsels for a beady-eyed birdy, although I’m not sure how healthy it is.

  2. In this case, I expect you’re right, but the other day I saw a cormorant with a fish in its beak that seemed too big by far for the bird to swallow . . . but down it went.

    • Travelling alone can have its advantages – one gets to stop and be still at will. Being in such a huge city (for work) when I knew no-one (as at my first weekend, which was at leisure) heightened the senses and the need to be still, and to observe – extraordinary.
