I think it must be fun being a child in snow regions. Did you make โ๏ธ?
I loved this experience, Charles. Iโve stood in snow before but have not experienced being in a place where itโs actually snowing. Just beautiful.
Such a great shot, BB. That line right down the middle is ace, smack in the middle. Looks very cold there, and hope you were keeping warm. Happy New Year, and wishing you all the best for the year ahead ๐
Thanks, Monica ๐ I didnโt have much positive to say last year, even though personally it was a good year. The Western world seemed to fracture a little bit more than usual, and the spectre of Trumpโs America did my head in.
Fracture feels like just the right word โ the fracturing of community, on every level, personal responsibility, ethics โ the underpinnings of democracy. What holds us together? Anxiety levels are rising โ one feels it on the roads. Iโm glad to hear your year was a good one. Your presence here certainly improves mine.
Oh…that looks so cold to me…brings back memories of my youth…cold memories. ๐

Beautiful ….๐
Thanks ๐
Stunning photo – especially with the splash of red in the distance ๐
Thanks, Gabe ๐ Colours really stand out in the snowy winter palette, which renders everything almost monochromatic.

Thanks, Mabel ๐ It was pretty cold there, but I loved the change from sweltering Sydney. Best wishes for the New Year ๐ฅ
lovely words, Bluebee, and photo to match – happy new year – makes the year start off right to see your posting
