Life,or something like it, in poetry

  1. OK – that makes sense. All I really want to know is: man or woman and from what continent – did I get a sense that you are Australian? You don’t have to say a thing, however, since the poetry speaks for itself quite nicely. I’m not usually this nosey, anyway.

    • Hi Monica – no worries – I’m a woman, have been a naturalised Australian for more than a decade, but was born and bred on the east coast of South Africa :-). Cheers bb.

  2. HI bb, just dropped by to see if I’d missed an update. Thanks for your comment on The Angel…I was nosying about and reading Monica’s comments on here, asking questions which I would have liked to ask, but seeing as how I try not to give too much ID info away myself it was a bit difficult. 🙂
    Wonderful WordPress…hands across Oceans…xPenx

    • 😀 – yes, blogging on WordPress and discovering the wonderful writing and insights of people such as yourself and Monica has been a really enjoyable and rewarding experience.

  3. Surfing the waves of the web I am pleasantly stranded in this beautiful blog.

I write under the pseudonym of Josè Pascal (a descendant of the great Colonel Aureliano Buendía).

I invite you to visit my italian writing blog parolesemplici.wordpress.com. I define this blog “In parole Semplici” as a “virtuacultural tin” box where they are guarded thoughts, memories, images, sounds, and simple stories. ”

If you want to participate and to have more informations send me a letter to inparolesempli@gmail.com

Good life and I hope to soon
    Josè

  4. Hi Bluebee, Thinking of you as you head into fall, while we wait for spring. Winters are always so much longer than summers. Why is that? Hope you don’t mind my sending you another link: http://jacsprat.wordpress.com/
I only send ones I really like that also remind me of your writing. Best – monica

    • Hello Monica 😀 – Thx for your message. I have been away for a month so my blog posting and reading has been rather sporadic. Other than the autumn colours, I don’t look much forward to the autumn and winter seasons as I’m not fond of the cold, but I guess that’s what makes summer so enjoyable. I look forward to catching up on your posts (and your take on spring in the US) and appreciate the links you send me. Thx bb

  5. Aha, Bb, I thought you must be an ex-South African. This is the first time I’ve read your ‘About’ to confirm. You used the word ‘vloek’ somewhere recently in a comment, I think. I greatly admire your poetry!

  6. Hi BB 🙂
I checked my Dad’s link and it’s working for me but it might be a Mac thing.
I’ll get him to visit you and make a comment – then there’s a direct link through WP isn’t there?
    Have a lovely day 🙂

  7. Thank you for showing up and choosing to follow my website, as it lead me to yours. Just have been reading some of your poetry and your story on A Beach Umbrella in The Wind. Enjoyed very much.
