I’m away in the mountains for my birthday, and some 17,000kms from Stockport, home of The Laughing Housewife, but have just received this delightful gift from her.

Tilly makes me laugh, a lot!

    • Thanks, Gabe! It was pretty cold – the road was closed for 5 hours just 24kms from our destination, so there was nothing for it but to join the stranded truckies and about 200 other tourists in the pub at Lawson until it opened again 🙂 Apparently the SES were busy rescuing about 300 stranded motorists on the snow-laden highway. We did get to our destination in time for sundowners, and to jump around in the snow before it melted.
