I’ve lived in Sydney for longer than the annual Vivid festival’s been going, but this year is the first time I went down to the Harbour to take a look. It’s fabulous, the atmosphere, the music and the visual splendour. Tonight’s the last night, so if you’re in Sydney and you haven’t been yet, get rugged up, and head to Vivid tonight for a wonderful evening.
For those of you who couldn’t make it, you might be interested in these Vivid 2015 videos from YouTube.

Oh..how I wish I was in Sydney right now…alas I in SoCal suffering in the heat. 🙂
Is the drought still so bad there, Charles?
😀 It is lovely out and about in Sydney at the moment, even though it’s very chilly.
Next year 🙂
I really wish I was in Sydney! I’m just a flight away… *sobs* Perhaps next year. Each year the light show seems to outdo the one from the year before, from all the photos I’ve seen. Hope you had a good time 🙂
You’ll have to make a plan to come next year, Mabel. It is really spectacular. Something to get us out of hibernation in winter. 😀
I’ve seen some videos of this and it is absolutely spectacular! Lucky you for being there 😀
It was such a lovely night out, walking around and soaking up the festive atmosphere.
First time? Well, I’m sure you’ll go again in years to come. The festival atmosphere is great. Thanks for joining in the challenge. 🙂
I most certainly will, and am planning to bring my mum here on holiday this time next year so she can enjoy it. 🙂
The visitor number get bigger each year. And it feels so safe out there too.
Glad you enjoyed yourself, bb … 🙂
Have you been, M-R? Can you see some of it from where you live?
I heard that it was also around The Star this year, bb – but I don’t go out at night unless someone is driving me. Pyrmont is not for the fainthearted – too many visiting drunks.
That’s a pity, M-R. 😦
I didn’t realize you live in Sydney, BB. We’ve been to your beautiful city several times and have dear friends who live in Wahroonga and the surrounding suburbs. We love your country. –Patti
Wonderful, Patti. 🙂 (I have friends who live in Wahroonga, too 🙂 )
Amazing sight! Thank you for sharing…….
It’s great to have something like this on in winter – gets people out and about. Thx, Dor.
Cool shot, BB. Glad you got down to check out the Harbour Lights.
Thanks, Nancy. I normally hibernate in winter.
I can’t be in Sydney…but I can enjoy seeing and hearing about it from you! Thanks.
That’s one of the wonderful things about blogging. It opens up the world in ways the mainstream media does not. 🙂
Yes, exciting place Sydney – sometimes it’s easy to forget to see the local extravaganzas – good you finally went to see Vivid 🙂
So much to see, so little time, ho hum 🙂
Awesome shot … just awesome.
